10Power is a woman-led, social impact enterprise on a mission to provide renewable energy to the 1.2 billion people that lack access to electricity today. Working in frontier markets, 10Power partners with local installers and provides project development and finance for commercial-scale solar and energy storage, building market ecosystems.
Earnest Ice Cream | Ben Ernst, Co-Owner
Earnest Ice Cream was started in 2012 by Erica Bernardi and Ben Ernst with a commitment to community, sustainability and creativity. With four retail locations in Vancouver, Earnest Ice Cream has grown into a retail and wholesale business with multiple locations in the Lower Mainland. After six years of rapid yet considered growth, Earnest is taking a hard look at growth and trying to determine what success will look like moving forward. Goodly Foods | Alexa Pitoulis
Goodly Foods is a unique initiative of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank (GVFB) and Fulmer Capital Partners, Inc. that aims to develop a viable social enterprise repurposing surplus produce from local suppliers while creating supportive employment opportunities. Goodly Foods has grown from a successful pilot stage to moving into distributing their Hearty Tomato Vegetable soup through Food Bank channels and buying partners in 2018. As the enterprise contemplates growth and long term sustainability as a brand they seek clarity around how to best position their brand story.
