Apply

We are committed to recruiting the perfect mix of attendees to make the magic happen! Therefore, everyone must apply prior to registering for SVI (even alumni).

These four community commitments guide the approval process:

  1. The SVI agenda focuses on strengthening and supporting entrepreneurs in the second stage and beyond of their business growth. Not sure if that’s you? Share your profile with us at svi@hollyhock.ca
  2. Space is reserved for emerging enterprise leaders, social change leaders, artists, consultants, and specialists in fields that connect and crossover into the social venture space.
  3. SVI is committed to supporting access among diverse communities across gender, race, and socio-economic status.
  4. The producer team aims to create a mix of seasoned pros and emerging entrepreneurs working with for profit, not-for-profit, cooperative, and hybrid models.

We invite you to share about yourself, your work, the communities you serve through your business, and why you want to attend.

If you think you might need financial support to attend SVI, please indicate in your application. Visit the scholarship page to learn more.

If you have any questions, please email svi@hollyhock.ca. We look forward to connecting with you!

Social Venture Institute Application

  • If you don't belong to one please indicate that above.
  • If you don't have a specific role please indicate that above.
Typically we send out a monthly email about what's happening at the Hollyhock Leadership Institute.
  • As stated in our community commitments above, Hollyhock supports access to both its island campus and satellite conferences among diverse communities. We are working to further our reach across gender, race and socio-economic status.
The Hollyhock Scholarship Fund exists to provide support to individuals who require assistance to participate in a Hollyhock program. All applications are reviewed and considered. Priority is given to those who demonstrate financial need, diversity, have not received a Hollyhock scholarship within the past two years, and articulate how they will bring what they learn in their Hollyhock educational program back to their homes, workplaces and communities.
