“The opportunity to build community with the badass
change-makers of SVIW has been a transformative and awakening
experience at a pivotal time in my growth.”
– Caesaré Assad, Food System 6
The curated model of the SVI agenda is the secret sauce that makes this conference uniquely engaging. It’s designed to provoke deep and supportive conversations and candid knowledge sharing. Peer to peer mentoring is at the core. Warning: Participation at SVI Women may cause unparalleled truth telling, imaginative storytelling, rare vulnerability, generosity, solutions and barrier breaking authenticity.
We’ll start every day with the heartbeat of the SVI model – an interactive entrepreneurial case study. During the case study, an entrepreneur describes their enterprise and a problem that they are currently struggling to resolve and we provide a panel of expert mentors and a highly engaged wisdom-full audience to offer one-of-a-kind advice and insights that is game changing. Are you interested in submitting your business challenge as a case study?
We draw upon the expertise of our extraordinary SVI Women participants who volunteer their wisdom and practical knowledge in the form of 90 minute skill building workshops. Are you interested in presenting a workshop?
One-on-one’s are a rare and invaluable opportunity to have a deep and authentic discussion with a talented mentor. Leaders with a wide range of skills and knowledge volunteer for peer mentoring throughout the event. Bring a challenge and get answers! Interested in offering your skills as a one-on-one mentor? Evenings are enlivened by one of the most unique parts of the SVI model – True Confessions, which are authentic storytelling sessions from established business leaders who share their personal journey, struggles, triumphs and failures in a candid and intimate format. Bring a tissue (there may be tears) and the questions you’ve been afraid to ask (until now).
Past leaders who have shared their secrets and struggles in a SVI True Confession include:
- Mary Waldner, Mary’s Gone Crackers
- Kit Crawford, Clifbar
- Akaya Winwood, Wisebridge
- Medea Benjamin, CodePink
- Margot Fraser, Birkenstock
- Amy Hall, Eileen Fisher
- Sallie Calhoun & Esther Park, Cienega Capital
- Tami Simons, Sounds True
And so many more.
SO MUCH MORE…
