Creating a Climate for Change is a powerful retreat, strategy session, and capacity-building conference for climate advocates in North America.

This year’s convening theme is the intersection between climate change, Indigenous rights, and our economy. Programming will include case studies, skill-building, and strategic dialogue to build community, movement well-being, and highlight opportunities for collaboration.

The 5-day conference includes a mix of scheduled and unscheduled time to allow for rest, integration, and enjoyment of Hollyhock’s beautiful campus.

We welcome applications from those who are interested in thoughtful dialogue, working across differences, and navigating challenging topics with generosity to oneself and others.

The program is designed for

  • climate campaigners
  • Indigenous leaders and land defenders
  • union organizers,
  • government and policy officials
  • people and organizations who work within the intersections of climate, the economy, business, and just energy transition.
