Hollyhock is a not-for-profit learning centre that offers extraordinary leadership programs to catalyze connection, personal growth, and progressive social change. From our humble beginnings in 1982 as a project of Greenpeace founders and human potential movement leaders, Hollyhock has been transforming North American society for over thirty-five years.
Hollyhock Leadership Institute is a conference series that helps to resolve the leadership deficits of the modern world. These cross-sectoral and multi-generational gatherings work to support progressive leaders through strengthening skills, expanding capacity, and building peer-to-peer networks and knowledge.
In addition to being home to the Leadership Institute, Hollyhock also offers a curriculum of programs for professional and personal development. Our main campus is located on Cortes Island, BC, and we also run programs in Vancouver and beyond.
Our Cortes Island campus utilizes our ocean-view, incredible garden, and natural wooded setting to offer our guests a retreat during their stay, maximizing learning potential as well as offering the opportunity for relaxation, play, and solitude.
We acknowledge that Hollyhock sits on the traditional territories of the Klahoose, Tla’amin, and Homalco Nations. We are committed to renewing our relationships with the First Nations peoples on whose territories we are guests.
